Hi I’m Katie and I’m a student at the University of British Columbia studying elementary education. I’ve been working as a nanny for 2 years and babysitting/working with children for 5 years as an art instructor and camp counselor. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, and have certifications in food safety, water safety, and early childhood education. As an education major, I see the importance of incorporating learning into play through different techniques, exciting games, and creative crafts! I always show up prepared with fun activities to engage the kids in, I love being outdoors and am very active with lots of energy to keep up with the little ones.
