Though I barely had much actual babysitting with kids, I did have a lot of experience with children when I was a teen. I became friends with them and played with them. Assisted with a couple children’s programs for a few years. Had co-op experience in a daycare a few times. Took a babysitting course. And a parenting class in high school. The people in charge of the children's program really liked me. The leader said I was good with the kids. I knew her a couple years before she got a kid, and left that area when the oldest was about 3. I sm very friendly, and the kids can talk about their feelings to me if they want.
