Hi There, I am very excited for the opportunity to find a new role in the childcare field! I have a diploma in ECE and am registered with The College of ECE’s. I have 5+ years experience in childcare with children 0 to 12 years. I have experience in settings including daycare centres, before/after school programs in TDSB Junior schools and in home childcare. Home childcare has been a big part of my life and ultimately led to my career in childcare. My grandma was an in home childcare provider for over 50 years. From being a child in her home care from 4 months old to many years under her mentorship and now a professional in the field myself, the experience and knowledge I’ve gained has been invaluable to my own personal practice. I have my First Aid/CPR Certification, Police Reference Check and Full vaccinations With my educational foundation and experience within the field, I am confident in my abilities to identify and support the physical, emotional and intellectual needs of children while providing opportunities for learning experiences through play. March of 2020 to March of 2022, I’ve been assisting my daughter and nephew with virtual school full time. However, they now have alternative care.
