I have over 20 years of experience caring for children. I have been babysitting for my niece and nephews since birth who are now 19, 22 and 24. I have prepared meals and snacks, planned and executed arts & crafts and other recreational activities. I have helped with homework, helped get them ready for school in the morning and ready for bed at night and even planned and executed a few of their birthday parties. I have a diploma for a Teacher Aide program that I completed and I have worked for a summer community program for students grades K-5, helping with English and Math in the morning and planning recreational activities in the afternoon at the local community centre. Various childcare positions I've held included walking children to school in the morning, pick-up after school, preparing snacks and planning activities until parents arrival. I Have also held a position where babysitting included homework help, bathing, preparing meals, reading stories, trips to the local library and much more!
