Hi, my name is Amanda. I am friendly, quiet, and compassionate with 15yrs experience raising a beautiful daughter who has severe ADHD, OCD, and anxiety. I work a split shift (Mon, Wed 7-9,3-6.Tues, Thurs, Fri 7-9,1-6) at a YMCA Child Care Center but am moving to Barrie in May. I am MEDU Director’s Approved, have Current First Aid and CPR Level C Certification, Child Protection orientation, AODA, Health & Safety Awareness, and Bill 168 training, PCI Compliance, Clear Police Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening. I am a currently a Child Development Practitioner(CDP) apprentice. I have 2 years volunteering with Better Beginnings Better Future's: Breakfast and After-School programs in Sudbury, ON, doing food preparations, clean-up, arts, group activities and more. I'm passionate, motivated, proactive, eager to learn, and a team player. I can learn new tasks quickly and complete them without supervision, very artistic, organized, helpful, kind, caring, compassionate, outgoing, optimistic, patient, attentive to detail, honest, great sense of humor, fairness, discrete, tact, can maintain confidences, and am very excited and ready to help our youth have a better tomorrow.
