My partner and I are in the mental health and scientific professions and we have two boisterous, and engaging little kiddos. They are extremely likeable children; shy and reserved at first, only to shortly afterward take you by the hand to show off their sticker collection. They enjoy the outdoors, as well as playing house, doctor, or just jumping after balloons in their play room. They at times will disagree with each other (and with us) but are fully capable of displaying beautiful moments of empathic connection as well. As parents we've strived to instil basic values of kindness, respect, patience, but also that of curiosity, adventure, gratitude, and independence.
