I've always loved animals and have been around pets for most of my life. Since I was around 10 years old, I've looked after rabbits, fish, lovebirds, finches, cats, and dogs at different times. Right now, I have a 5-year-old female Shih Tzu named Tintu, and taking care of her has taught me a lot about the daily responsibility and care pets need. I enjoy spending time with animals, making sure they're comfortable, well-fed, and happy. I can check in on your pets, or they can come to my place. I have a separate room where your pet can stay if they need their own space.
I have a big backyard and a puppy with lots of energy and great dog manners, so no canine visitor will be left bored. I have a puppy and two cats at home.
My day job gives me more freedom of hours than a regular day job, so I'm using that opportunity to see more pets every day!

I’ve trained my past 3 dogs myself and assisted in training my family and friends’ dogs too. I’ve fostered and trained a Detector Dog through Australian Border Force and said dog is currently undergoing more training to work with Australian Biosecurity. I’ve got a degree in Zoology and Animal Science, so am usually the one people come to for animal related questions.
I am able to train dogs, do daily walks (or multiple for more active breeds), at home stays for the more anxious or elderly pets and general care giving, like feeding when the owners away, cleaning up after them and giving medication. I’ve never worked with, or even met an animal that hasn’t liked me almost immediately. I understand that all animals are different and I can cater to their, and your, personal needs; whether it be training without using treats as rewards, or giving animals daily medication. I’m currently working at a local dog groomers so I’ve got experience dealing with dogs of all breeds and sizes
