Hi! My name is Lakayla, I’m 22 years old, and I’m excited to offer loving, reliable care for your fur babies.
I currently work as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) at a childcare centre, where patience, responsibility, and nurturing are part of my everyday life. Caring for others has always been my passion, and I’m looking to branch out into pet care because animals have played such an important role in my life.
I have a lifetime of experience with pets of all kinds. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from tiny Papillons to gentle Greyhounds, as well as birds, guinea pigs, mice, rats, fish, and even hermit crabs. I’m comfortable with different sizes, temperaments, and routines, and I understand that every animal has their own unique personality and needs.
At home, I’m a proud rescue pet parent to three wonderful animals: my four-year-old tabby cat Ralph, my eight-year-old cat Eddie, and Callie, my four-year-old dog. Raising rescue pets has strengthened my belief in compassion, patience, and creating a safe, loving environment.
