Hello! I’m Jennie, I’m a marine biologist PhD student studying lobsters at the University of Tasmania! My degree background is in Biology and I have recently moved over from the U.K. I have previously tutored students from 14-16 years old in maths and science. I have tutored specifically biology and maths to A Level students (16-18 years). My style of tutoring is normally face-to-face but I have also organised lessons through Skype for some students. These are mostly one-hour long sessions, once a week, after school (sometimes a bit extra over exam time!). Normally I would start a tutoring session by helping with homework and school-set tasks and then perhaps move on to exam preparation or extra revision in areas that need improvement. I have always built up a good relationship with my students and normally they choose the direction and style of the tutoring.
