As a community dog walker, I have shown reliability, compassion and kindness towards numerous dogs and their owners. I understand different dog temperaments and have walked over ten different dogs of various ages, activity levels and training experience. I visited the dogs multiple times each week often for durations of several months to several years. I currently walk a German Shepherd twice a week, called Tess. I carefully carry out vet’s orders for Tess, taking into consideration her mild arthritis, hydration and exhaustion levels as having a thick insulating coat can mean that she is more prone to heatstroke. I take great interest in learning more about dog health and behaviour, applying this in my interactions with dogs. I enjoy a variety of active sports and my physical endurance would be advantageous for playing with energetic dogs and handling large dogs. I have also owned pets of my own including horses and small animals including: hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, budgies, cats and fancy mice. I am familiar with the care needs of these animals. I am unable to have animals at my residence but can pet sit at your house. I take joy in bringing value to the lives of others through their pets.
