I am an enthusiastic 22 year-old medical student. I have previous experience working with children, having completed my paediatric rotation during my degree as well as volunteering in a day-care centre in Sydney on multiple occasions. I have also been a volunteer for the "Teddy Bear Hospital" initiative, which is a program designed to reduce anxiety of children when receiving medical attention and treatments. For this we attended multiple schools and created interactive ways to teach primary school aged children of diverse cultural backgrounds a variety of topics, including how to maximise their health, what a visit to the hospital might mean and so on. I am bilingual (English and Russian) and have tutored a variety of subjects from primary school aged children two third-year university students. I have a working with children check and a national police record check.
