In 2019, I will complete my degree of Primary Education and Arts at Monash University. I currently work as a teacher's aide and an after school care assistant at Huntingtower School in Mount Waverley. In my role as a teacher's aide, I teach literacy and numeracy to a small group of students in Year 1 and Year 2. I have been an after school care assistant for approximately four years, whereby I provide students with fun activities, as well as afternoon tea (so preparation of food is not a problem). In my experiences, I do casual babysitting for a family who has a 7 year old daughter and a 3 year old son, as well as another family who has a 14 year old daughter and a son who just turned one. I have also travelled to South Africa and volunteered at primary schools, daycares and orphanages. I have a first aid certification (completed 3 courses) and know how to give CPR to infants, children and adults, as well as administer an epipen and give asthma medication. I can speak Greek and I attended Greek school for 9 years. I am also a major pet lover, so pets are not a problem at all. If you're at all interested, do not hesitate to contact me.
