I am currently working as a casual learning support officer at a few of the Catholic schools in Cairns as well as after school care and Vac care. I have completed my cert 3 in early learning childcare and have had it for about 2 years now. I did my 120 hours for work experience at Goodstart Early Learning so I am very familiar working with bubbas. I have some experience assisting children with disabilities (as well as having a little brother who has asd & is intellectually challenged). Im here as I’m looking for a bit more work. Although I am 19, I’m both respectful & responsible. I absolutely love being around kids. I’m the oldest of my 9 siblings, the youngest being 2, so I have been around kids my entire life to where it pretty much feels like second nature to me. I have also lived on my own since 16 so I’ve had to grow up a lot quicker in the maturity & responsibility side of things. I’m pretty easy going & have a good sense of humour, I’m flexible with hours & am a very understanding person. I don’t have the greatest social life as I just can’t be bothered trying to fit in with this generation, so unless there’s an occasion or I’m out with my partner, I’m usually always available on weekends too!
