I have been looking after little ones for as long as I can remember. I have always gravitated towards them and admire their innocence and wonder of the world. I've spent the past year in the out of home care sector working with extremely vulnerable youth. Previous to this I studied a Diploma in Counselling. When looking after kids, it's not just about caring for them with me. I apply therapeutic skills and understanding of the developmental process to foster the flourishing of their unique selves. I work on building healthy attachments with them and ensure they are properly heard. As well as that, I also believe that creativity, exploration, and nature-based play is especially fundamental within the early years and incorporate that within my care. I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and caring.
