I am currently a Psychology student at the University of Sydney, with a focus in Child Psychology. I have a genuine love for working with children and am confident in providing excellent care and support to families in need. I moved to Sydney from Melbourne alone when I was 17 and have since developed an extremely independent and hardworking skillset, with a passion for aiding those in need. In my free time, I enjoy reading and watching film, and have a keen interest in learning all I can and continuing my work with children for years to come. I have over 6+ years of experience in working with children. I have 4+ years of at-home child care/babysitting work done for numerous families with children aged 1-12. I have worked at Build-a-Bear and at the RMHC children’s charity. Throughout this time, I developed a deep understanding of children's needs and the importance of creating a safe, engaging, educational and nurturing environment for them. I have an extensive understanding of managing, meal prepping, cleaning, entertaining, and caring for children in any regard. I look forward to the opportunity to create a nurturing and joyful environment for children and their families and to contribute positively to their lives.
