Prior to studying I have had 2 previous places of employment. I worked for 3.5 years in an indoor play centre where I gained experience in communication, problem solving and learnt how to help different types of children and meet their needs. The last year I have been working as a carer for the elderly. This position required me to have excellent people skills, such as being kind, gentle and caring in helping the client in everyday activities such as showering, toileting, cleaning, grocery shopping or general companionship. I am looking to fill in my time between uni by babysitting and helping a family free up some time. I am available Mondays and Thursdays at this stage :)
