My care approach for children begins with a deep listening to the child and responding with care. Fostering their confidence in expressing themselves and meeting their needs of feeling seen, heard and valued. My approach is gentle, I am gifted with patience and a calm nature. I treat children with respect, as the divine and intelligent little beings that they are. I believe in allowing children to express their emotions and aim to help them to understand them. Showing empathy and validating that it is okay for them to feel that way. I encourage play that gets children using their bodies building body strength and balance. I encourage all types of creativity such as art/craft, song and dance. I encourage imagination, curiosity and wish to impart the magic and beauty of life. I deeply value children spending time in nature and in connection with the land. I have experience babysitting and working in a child care centre in Bangalow as an eductaor. As well, I am a step mother to a 6 year old boy. I am confident in caring for babies up to older children. I have a WWCC and a first aid & CPR certificate.
