I am currently studying in South Africa, where I am originally from, at The Modern College of Montessori to become a directress (teacher). I have a passion for teaching and working with children as they are our future and I believe I can learn as much (if not more) from them as they learn from me. I discovered my passion for teaching in 2020 (my Grade 10 year) whilst volunteering at a special needs school back in South Africa and went on to start babysitting for some family friends in 2021 until present. I completed highschool in 2022 and earned my matriculation (equal to SSCE) but ended up taking taking gap year as I was waiting for my Australian visa which has since been issued. I recently got my South African driver's license, however I do not have my own car but I am willing to walk (if in range) or take public transport. I also have a NQF level 3 certification as a first responder (first aid) which I completed last year (2023). I strongly believe in the Montessori teaching principles as children should be treated as equals and with respect, the same as any other person or living creature. I am a passionate, hard-working individual who is goal-oriented and responsible.
