My name is Charlotte and I am 26 years old. I am a resilient, friendly and hardworking individual who graduated in Children’s nursing in February 2020. I worked for 18 months at Southampton General Hospital in the neurosurgical department. A strength throughout my nursing career has been establishing effective working relationships with patients and their families as well as colleagues. My most recent experience being a live in Au Pair working for a Housemaster at Harrow School for two years. During my time working as an Au Pair, I have managed to obtain my CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare.I was able to put what I learnt into practice whilst working as an Au Pair. As an Au Pair I looked after two children aged five years, one boy and one girl. My main responsibilities included school pick-up and drop-offs, preparing and serving meals with balanced nutrition, organising creative activities and educational games for the children when they returned from school, assisting with bathtime, performing household tasks when needed, teaching children appropriate social behaviours and working with parents to ensure children’s growth and social development.
