I've worked before and during COVID for two years in Brisbane as a disability support worker for Chris, 47 who's in a wheelchair. With him even hard days didn't feel like work because I was needed and appreciated. I enjoyed going out with him as much as helping him at home. I prepared food for him and showered and shaved as well as changed his stoma bag. From early on I cared for my grandmother in Germany and later on my nonna in Italy with Alzheimer, I also worked for the German red cross delivering lunch and loved to sit down whenever I had a free minute to not just come in for the food but also to spend a nice moment with each other
