I wish to apply for the Carer position. I have worked in this industry through a wide range of residential aged care services as a volunteer and I have experience of working as a carer, a support assistant and as a volunteer in Disability, Nursing home and Hospital and also supporting children with different needs. I have acquired a wide range of know-how of assisting elderly people and I have proved to be a reliable, professional and personalised care-oriented advocate. And am competent in assisting clients with medication by following well written prescription instructions. I have an understanding of the wellness approach to client care and hand hygiene requirements, in addition to providing first aid where need be. I wish to utilize on my achievements and experiences in this field and be able to give elderly persons a reason to live longer.
