My name is Melissa and ever since I was a young child spent most of my weekends sitting and chatting with the elderly. Majority of my free choice school projects were on topics such as Alzheimer's and Parkinsons or a life story of someone elderly I had the pleasure of listening to. I spent my highschool weekends either cleaning nursing homes and being a kitchen hand. When I left school I went straight on to do my Certificate 3 in Aged Care and worked in that field until I had my first child. Now that my children are older I would love to start helping others again.
