Hi, my name is Maria, I was born in Mexico, but I relocated to Australia 12 years ago with my husband and my son. As I love working with the elders, I decided to do my Certificate in Aged Care and since then I have been working as a carer for over 8 years now, first in Perth and then here in Brisbane. I have a wide experience as an in-home carer providing individual assistance with personal care (showering, toileting and hygiene), medication administration, manual handling, meal preparation, household chores and running errands such as banking, shopping, medical appointments and social outings.
