I am visiting Mackay from Canada for six months and am looking for casual work while my husband works at the hospital. In Canada, I worked as an Environmental Sustainability Consultant for five years and previous to that I worked primarily in community services doing things like Elderly Activation (engagement and activities for the elderly), an Elderly Sitter, camp counselling (gymnastics, science), tutoring (french, english, science), swimming instruction and lifeguarding. I am kind, patient and gentle and my work at a nursing home as an Activation Assistant and a sitter for the elderly provided me with the experience be an effective and compassionate carer. I have experience with general health care, feeding, general hygiene and companionship.
