I have a genuine place in my heart for the elderly as I have a great relationship with my grandparents. I have 3 years experience but have been travelling Canada for the past 2 years, now I am back and ready to work towards my future in aged care. I specialise in dementia and love to cook and clean. | I have worked at Clayfield House and there were clients with bi polar, dementia and other disablilites. I handled them very well and remained calm. I showered them as well and made sure beds were always clean and bathrooms cleaned as well. The clients hygiene and well being comes first before anyone else

| Compassion, empathy, an ability to connect and make you feel like you have someone who will have your family member's back and will be in safe hands. I have over ten years direct experience with diabetes dementia and caring for our older generation. I supported my parents through dementia, diabetes, cancer and their lack of mobility. Keeping elderly and less mobile people stimulated with renewed purpose and a positive outlook on life. I have worked for Services Australia and experience with Nursing homes. I offer mainly sleep overs.

| Professionally, I have 3.5 years of experience as an Aged Carer and RPL with 10 years combined as the full time Carer of both my parents until their passing. The most recent of my beloved Dad in July 2023 from lung cancer. Dad was given 2 weeks to live in November 2022, I then made the executive decision to bring him home into Palliative care and lived for 8 more months. I also had my beloved Mum at home in Palliative care until her passing in November 2019. I have completed Certificate's in: . ACE Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced Modules . GRAD 1 under the Home Instead Senior Care Learning Program . Workplace Health and Safety . Understanding Elder Abuse . A Palliative Approach to Care . Understanding Traumatic Brain Injury I'm currently studying Preventing Dementia and Understanding Multiple Sclerosis. I have an absolute love and passion for caring for people and am also interested with working in the Disability sector. I have performed services such as personal hygiene, companionship, outings to making meals, cleaning, gardening and everything in between.

| I have a Diploma in Disabilities, and for 7 years I support Adults with multiple disabilities and challenging behaviors. For the last 4 years I have supported my mother who has Dementia. She now resides in an Aged care facility. I'm passionate about supporting people to live their best lives. I'm fit, I love to swim and sing(not at the same time) I enjoy life, and a good laugh.
