My name is Andrea, I’m 27 years old, and I have been living in Zurich for the past six years, working in childcare.
I first came to Switzerland as an au pair. After three years, I became independent and moved into my own apartment, while continuing to work as a nanny for the same family. After three and a half wonderful years together, the children have grown up and are now old enough to be more independent, so I’m excited to start a new chapter with another family.
I am a native Spanish speaker, I speak English fluently, and I have also learned German, which I continue to improve every day.
Although I truly enjoy working as a nanny, my long-term goal is to become a primary school teacher. I love supporting children’s learning and development, and I hope to bring my experience, patience, and enthusiasm into a classroom in the future. Until then, I’m looking forward to becoming a trusted and caring part of a new family, creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for their children.
