Hello! My name is Amy. I am a native English, Professional Nanny with 8+ years of paid childcare experience; newborn-13yrs, including experience with twins & child autism. I love helping people, especially families- it makes me feel like im doing my part in the world. I believe that nannying/childcare is an incredibly important bridge between working parents and their children. And it gives me great satisfaction to play this role effectively and lovingly. My degree in BSc Psychology, inclusive of Child Development & Neurology, keeps me significantly mindful of the fact that the first 5 years of a childs life are the most crucial and that therefore, what they experience within this time is of the upmost importance. I will forever be influenced by this knowledge and always aim to implement it in my care. I am flexible, reliable, responsible, hard working, motivated, determined, passionate, empathetic and sensitive to children's needs. I am currently employed as a full time, live out Nanny in Zürich; taking care of one little girl since she was 3 months old (now 2.5 years) however my employment will sadly be coming to an end with them August 31st 2023. Im therefore looking to secure full time work from 1st September.
