Feeling like your Broadway Baby is ready for the next step? Then this class is just for you! Broadway Mini-Stars uses the magic of musical theater to help ease the transition from toddler to preschooler by combining the Broadway & Me class you know and love with structured activities designed to encourage independence and help your little one adapt to a group classroom setting. Each week, little Broadway fans and caregivers are introduced to exciting new songs, characters, and stories as Broadway Musicals are brought to life by a team of professional teaching artists. After that, it’s time to dive into a process art activity inspired by the show of the week. Created by a professional performer turned early childhood development specialist, Broadway Mini-Stars is both entertaining and developmentally appropriate!
*Everyone over the age of 2 (regardless of vaccination status) will be required to wear a mask when not socially distanced and seated on their mats.
**VACCINATION POLICY [Effective January 10, 2022]**
• Everyone over the age of 5 will be REQUIRED to show proof of vaccination in order to attend class.
• You may either show your vaccine card at the door or send a photo of your vaccine card to info@stageschicago.com prior to the start of class.
•If you are registered for the full session or semester of classes we will keep your vaccination information on file so that you don’t have to show it every week.
•If a new adult is bringing your child to a class that caregivers attend (Broadway & Me, Broadway Mini-Stars, or Lullaby League), they MUST show proof of vaccination in order to enter the building. Advance notice of additional or different caregiver attendance is strongly encouraged.
•If anyone over the age of 5 is NOT vaccinated, you will be required to show proof of a negative COVID test in order to attend class. THIS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR EVERY CLASS, EVERY WEEK
Additional Covid Class Precautions:
• Class enrollment will be capped at 12 families per class.
• Toys and Props will be sanitized between each class.
• Mats will be provided and sanitized between classes.
• Temperature checks will be conducted upon arrival.
• Teachers will wear masks at all times.
• Children over the age of 2yrs are required to wear masks when inside.
• Adults will be required to wear masks at all times, regardless of vaccination status.
• Families will be socially distanced during the class. Teachers will be moving throughout the room and interacting with children during the class. If you do not feel comfortable with teachers or individuals outside of your family approaching your mat, please let us know. We want to ensure that EVERYONE feels comfortable in class!
