Head Start to Reading is to be taken the year before kindergarten. Making books and other hands-on experiences are used to teach students 2-3 kindergarten sight words each week! Students receive word cards, sentences, and games to practice with at home. There are 10 total lessons.
The Head Start to Reading program is copyrighted and licensed. Sharing or reproducing the materials is against the law!
Mrs. Lesli will be wearing a mask. Tables, chairs, manipulatives, and the bathroom will be cleaned between classes. Classes are held in a small area, social distancing cannot be maintained. Please know, you are enrolling your child AT YOUR OWN RISK. All children are encouraged to wear a mask. BOOST cannot be held liable if your child contracts Covid-19. Please keep your child home if he/she is experiencing symptoms. If your child is coughing, he/she will not be allowed to stay for class. We ask that you notify us immediately if anyone in your family has been exposed or has contracted the Covid-19 virus or is on quarantine.
There are no make-up classes or refunds for classes missed due to vacations.
If your child attends a VBS and the class times conflict for the week of VBS, notify Mrs. Lesli immediately so your child attend a class later in the day.
