About

Going out of town? Working long hours? Need some professional help with your pets, in their home? Why take them to a kennel when expert care will come to you? At Zoo 2 You, we offer numerous services to help you and your pets. An afternoon dog walkto burn off some energy, or keeping them in their normal routine at home while you are out of town. We can provide multiple home visits or stay at your home overnight. We are insured, bonded and experts in animal care. We aim to please you and serve all your animal care needs! I have ALWAYS been passionate about animals, whether it was my family dog or orangutans and rhinos I cared for at the zoo. At a young age, I knew I wanted to be a Zookeeper. Right out of college, I was hired for my first job as a Zookeeper. I packed up my car and 2 dogs and left my home town of Boston. Since 1994, I have had the privilege of working at 3 prestigious zoos in various parts of the country. During my Zookeeper career, I gained extensive animal knowledge in many different areas, from emotional wellbeing to handling various species to basic medical care to training and much more. Throughout my Zookeeping career, I have done side work as a pet sitter. I am now in phase 2 of my life with a new purpose and career. My childhood always involved dogs, fish and rabbits (my Dad was allergic to cats). Upon moving into my first apartment away from home, I rescued a cat. Let s just say he was everything I had hope he would be! Throughout the years I have had numerous dogs, cats, ferrets, birds and fish. Currently, I am the proud parent of 2 dogs, 1 cat and fish. Quality pet care is of utmost important to me, in my home as well as yours.Read more
