My name is Stasia and I am the founder of YAPet Care & Training. At YAP, we offer affordable, customizable pet care focused on optimizing your pet s individual needs througha variety of fully comprehensive services. About Me: I am a canine and equine trainer/behavior modification specialist, veterinary technician and experienced kennel technician. I grew up on a farm and have owned and cared for dogs, cats, birds (exotics/pigeons/poultry), horses, small livestock, reptiles (lizards, snakes, tortoises) and rodents. I am very comfortable with all assortments of animal species and will gladly work around your specific scheduling needs. My experience as a kennel technician and behavior specialist ensures my capability to provide exceptional care to both large and small groups of dogs. I can administer medications, vaccinate and do first aid, in addition to basic grooming (trimming nails/bathing/etc.). I am also very comfortable working with a variety of diet instructions and working around food allergies. My background in veterinary medicine ensures that the health of your pet(s) will be my #1 priority while I am looking after them. I am a passionate trainer and behaviorist for dogs and horses, and specialize in obedience, agility, manners and resolving behavioral issues. I teach individual and group classes, and use primarily positive reinforcement as well as on leash training. The focus of my classes is to teach clients how to work with their dog's individual personality in the comfort of their own homes. Trained in dog group supervision and controlled socialization, I am able to safely socialize your dog with other humans and animals. I founded YAP on the principle that all animals deserve to feel safe, wanted and healthy.
