My first contact with TLC was through a HalfOff Depot promotion. My first experience was ok, except for the fact that they managed to break the blinds in my master bathroom and failed to alert me to the damage.
About a year later, I purchased another voucher and gave them a second chance. This time, I was quite pleased and purchased a monthly cleaning contract. I prepaid for the cleaning, per the terms of their contract, and scheduled the appointment. They never showed up. Emails were exchanged, and they offered me a choice of dates to reschedule. I responded with a date ... it has been a month since that email exchange and they have yet to reply or make an appearance.
They do not return calls and all attempts to reach them by email have failed.
It might have been a nominal payment, but if this is their general course of business, then they are making bank on failure to deliver.
They want money upfront - which is fine if they show up. Called 15 minutes before they were supposed to arrive saying one of the cleaners was very sick. (Gee, just 15 minutes before!?) Then NO communication for weeks (and they still owed me a cleaning). When I said 'forget it,' she was insulted. WHA?????

Their cleaning is inconsistent at best.

Do NOT use! You will be disappointed. (Oh, and read all the other reviews!)

The owners of this business have zero integrity. I truly hope that customers catch on to their scam. Be wary of any positive reviews as the reviewer was provided a discount in exchange for the review (the positive reviews are essentially paid for). I tried to take advantage of three sessions I purchased.
Unfortunately I was given dates and NOT actual time slots. I tried to reach the company a few times to verify a time slot but to no avail. I I did not hear from the company until I sent an email about them stealing my money. Instead of sending me a response to fix the situation I was met with the most unprofessional, "neck-rolling attitude" type of response. The owner could have tried to find a resolution that would have worked for everyone but was met with anger and attitude. The owner is upset with me the customer because her employee offered me an incorrect quote. I cannot understand how this person is still in business as the owners are some of the most inept "business" owners that I have ever met.
Please, please do not purchase a voucher for this company. You are not getting a good deal!
I purchased two vouchers through and scheduled an appointment using the first voucher on 3/27/13. They emailed me to confirm my appointment a week prior to my appointment, however, I did not get the email until I returned from an out of town work assignment. When I tried to call to reschedule, I did not get a response. Twelve calls and two emails later, still nothing. I'm going to contact the company from whom I purchased the vouchers to request a refund as well as contact the Better Business Bureau. They should not be able to operate a business with these practices.
I purchased 2 cleanings through a voucher at I called to schedule an appointment and left a voicemail. No one returned my call, so the next day I sent an email. They did respond the same day, gave me two dates to choose from, and we scheduled my appointment. They had all of my information as far as my address and any instructions on where I would leave the key, if I had any pets, etc. I found it strange that I never received a confirmation call or email the day before my appointment, but I wasn't too worried about it. Well, I was wrong. They never showed. Never called/emailed. Nothing. I came home to my house being the exact same as I left it. I'm not even going to waste my time with giving them a second chance since they probably won't answer and wouldn't do a good job anyways. I am just going to get a refund from half off depot. Such a shame.

I also purchased a voucher to use with this company. I called and left a message to set an appt, no response. I sent an email and finally after 2 weeks someone called me and set an appt for a month away. I had an appt for Jan. 15th, no call, no show! I have emailed the company and called several times with no response forthcoming. Extremely unprofessional and would not recommend this company to anyone!

I bought a deal worth 2 cleanings a while back and though it was hard to schedule they came and did a decent job. After those two cleanings they asked me to extended the service by purchasing a special through them directly so even though I am a single mother with not much extra spending room I decided to purchase the special via paypal at $150 including 4 cleanings. They were very persistant about getting me to opt in on the deal and pay. The first of those 4 cleanings they showed up and I had my brother be at the house just to make sure all went well. He said they did an ok job but didnt stay long. The 2nd of the 4 cleanings they didnt show up for the service and put me in a bind as my son's first birthday was the next day and was depending on them to be there. They didnt call or anything they just didnt show up. When I emailed the owner she apologized and rescheduled and they came and cleaned. I have 2 cleanings remaining. I had an appt set for Jan 17th and even paid for my dog to be boarded and no one came and I tried contacting them the day before to confirm they were coming but no one responded. And I have tried emailing several times since then but no one will get back to me. Basically they took my money but never fulfilled the service.
Unprofessional is the kindest word I can think for this "business." I bought a voucher for this company months ago and I still cannot schedule an appointment. One week they said they're training, I asked for the first available date, no response for 2 days. Upon re sending the request, surprise surprise they're booked until next week. Really? Even with 1 maid working it wouldn't take that long. I don't know if I'll get my money back for the voucher, but I'm done with TLC (Totally Lacks Courtesy)! Avoid this place!
