Plus we take care of all the heavy lifting: we train, you simply maintain. Whether your scrappy new puppy needs some manners or your old dog could use some new tricks, the Laughing Tail has the expertise to get the job done. We come to your home to train and walk your dog and you don't have to be there.

We offer a fun-filled doggie day camp where your dog spends the day in supervised play with canine campers of similar size and energy level. Your dog can also live in my home while I train him. This program is an intensive three-week board-and-train residency program that accelerates learning.

Laura truly loves dogs and it shows in everything from her dedication to helping rescued dogs to helping pet owners with their canine companions. She understands why enrichment is so important to a dog's well being and I've certainly learned a lot from her about that, which has helped my dog, Dexter, tremendously. He gets bored and needs a lot of mental stimulation. When I watched a video about how she trained her own active dog, Tula, in some enrichment behaviors, it took how I thought about enrichment to a whole new level. When I have training questions about my dog, I have 3 people I consider experts in different dog training specialties - Laura at The Laughing Tail is 1 of those 3 people. I wish we lived in Vancouver so I could take my Dexter to her doggie day care. She provides so much more than just a place for your dog to hang out. It's more like a really great pre-school than it is dog sitting.
