I scheduled a stay for my two pups 2 1/2 months in advance and even reached out the week before to confirm and told them what time I'd be arriving with them. When we arrived the morning to drop our dogs off we went to the door and rang the bell. A ring camera. After waiting for about 5 minutes, we were told via the ring doorbell very abruptly to go wait in our car and turn our ac on. It was not even hot. It was unseasonably cool that morning. This was weird but okay. We waited quite awhile in the ca for the man to come out but tried to be friendly when he finally did and planned to proceed. I had my car door ooen holding my dog on my lap as we chatted. He was talking in circles, and said the state may come and shut them down bc of a client being in their home with covid. I expressed concern and asked if they would be closing if that happened and explained I'd be out of state. He said I misunderstood. I wondered why no one contacted me sooner to tell me, but did not say it. He then accused me of getting my dates mixed up. I assured him I had not. Even offered to show him our texts dating back to May to try and jog his memory. I was hoping to turn things around as I had no other options due to leaving town that day. He asked if I had questions and I asked if they had cameras there so I could check on them because I'd miss them. He explained they had no internet for that because they were in a bad area. Even though I could clearly see a ring camera on their front door. I asked if my pups would be staying in the house. He said no, back behind and pointed towards the woods/back of the house. Then he said they watch the dogs on cameras. I asked if I could mask up and see it since I've been vaccinated and also have antibodies from having covid months ago. Not go inside, just maybe see the area. Just so I'd have an idea of where they would be. He said if you have that many concerns you should take your dogs and leave. I tried to explain I was just asking because I'd never been there before. He then picked up my dog bed sitting in his driveway and shoved it into my car and into my face! And slammed my car door shut on me. I was in total shock to be treated so rudely for no reason. He had no concern that he was putting me in a bad situation. He was rude to us from the second we saw him and for some reason seemed to be looking for a reason not to keep our dogs. He was so aggressive my daughter started crying! Honestly I'm so glad we did not leave them there. But I have been shaken up all day. I felt so violated to have a strange man be so aggressive to me for no reason. I would not take your pets anywhere near this place. I have never been treated so rudely by a business owner in my life. My husband at this time did get out of the car and asked him to calm down and told him not be rude to his wife, and was so mad he used a curse word. My husband had remained quiet until then, but could not sit back and watch this man be abusive to me. It was a horrible experience. I would give them -10 stars if I could. I'm still at a loss as to why he treated us like that. Not a great way to start any day, much less one where you are finally going on a family vacation you have waited a year for. We had to scramble to find a place to take our pets and were hours late leaving. I was shocked by the lack of concern or professionalism.

This place is wonderful. We just left our 12 yr old very spoiled Schnauzer & our 7 yr Schnauzer who suffers from anxiaty. I called and the first couple of days & they were doing fine. They even bath them the day they are going home.I now know I have a safe place to leave my babies.
