We, at TeachPro, provide tutoring in grades K-12 for both Reading/Language Arts and Math. We use only state certified teachers as our tutors, and we provide our services in the comfort and convenience of your own home.

The test is a formative test, meaning it will point to the curricula necessary to master your child's missing skills. We provide the curricula used to tutor your child. Most tutoring companies require their tutors to use the school's text book(s). That is a mistake for several reasons. What is used if the tutoring takes place in the summer? A text book often expects the student has mastered certain skills to be at the level of that specific text book. So if a skill taught in a previous grade is not mastered, that year's text book does not reteach the previous grade's materials. It assumes those skills are mastered.

Immediately after the test is completed, we score it in our online management program. This tells us exactly what your child's skill gaps are and what curricula is needed to address these gaps. We then work with you to identify what you expect TeachPro to accomplish. Do you want your child to be brought up to grade level (straight C's), above grade level (Straight B's), or significantly above grade level (Straight A's). From this we are able to give you what we call our Parent Proposal.The proposal shows in detail the skills your child must master to be at the desired grade level, as well as the tutoring schedule available, and what you can do to reinforce the tutoring process with your child.

STEP 2: TEACH
All of our tutoring sessions take place in your home. The only time this changes is during the summer when we run summer tutoring camps in libraries, churches, community centers, and other public places. We run these camps to help provide daytime care for your child during a part of the summer. The real benefit is it completely eliminates the typical summer regression a child experiences.

Our tutors develop specifically tailored lesson plans for your child based on the formative assessment and the curricula recommended. Our curriculum packets are from a wide array of well-known national publishers. We are constantly reviewing the newest and best sources, which allows us to easily introduce better material as it becomes available. This ensures your child receives the best tutoring experience, with no bias to a particular publisher on our part.
