Sage Educators was created by William and Jaime Heaps. The Mill Valley couple, originally from the Washington, DC area, earned their bachelors degrees at Virginia Tech and went on to graduate school at the University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands. InAmsterdam, William and Jaime studied International Politics and earned their Masters degrees in History. Upon their return from Amsterdam, William and Jaime both found jobs in the field of education -- William as a tutor at a prominent Washington, DC learning center, and Jaime as a middle-school teacher and IEP (individualized education plan) coordinator.
