We collaborate with New York City's best trainers to ensure training stays consistent while your pet is in our care. An intense passion for animals and the LGBTQ+ community is what motivated, owner, Liz Cooney to start a business that serves both the community and animals she loves. As a former pet parent of a dog with severe behavioral and medical challenges, Liz understands firsthand how difficult it is to find adequate, specialized care. She brings nearly two decades of experience caring for animals including rehabilitating dogs with serious behavioral challenges, administering both common and unique medical treatments to a variety of animals, and formal education and training in animal care.
We strive to be a socially conscious business combining the empowerment of LGBTQ+ folks with an extensive background in animal, care, behavior, and rehabilitation. I can't say enough good things about Liz! My cat Ginger is very temperamental and doesn't really like people... she loved Liz from the moment she met her. I was reassured that Ginger was in the right hands, and Liz kept me updated on how they were doing throughout my trip. I would have Liz as a sitter again in a heartbeat.

Liz is an incredible house sitter who went above and beyond, managing a delicate situation with grace while we were far away. She is lovely, charming, polite, professional, friendly--the list goes on and on.. We recommend Liz as a house sitter to anyone with multiple pets without hesitation, and would use her services again if given the chance. Our apartment was in an impeccable shape upon our return home, and our pets were happy and well cared for. Thank you, thank you, thank you Liz!!!

Liz stayed in my apartment for two weeks while taking care of my 13-year-old Puli. She took exquisite care of both my dog and my home. She has a positive effect on animals--my dog was in good spirits upon my return and obviously well taken care of while I was away. I also found her to be very reliable and she communicates as needed. If you are looking to feel secure and confident about your pet's well-being--and yours!--while you are gone, Liz is someone you can trust and count on. -Jennifer
