Our Vet's office is closed Saturday, Friday night my 16 year old cat was taken ill. Saturday morning I called Quioccassin Veterinary Hospital seeking assistance for which I was promptly rejected. After spending time explaining my cats symptoms I was advised "We are booked, go to a 24 hour emergency facility" with no offer to provide assistance. I appreciate Vet's offices are busy weekends, my former Vet in Maryland always took time to make room for someone regardless of appointments, therefore so much for "Compassion and We care about your pet".not being willing to take one step beyond the call of duty! My wife and I were deeply disappointed in what we consider a complete lack of respect, caring and service. Any thoughts of making this facility our vet of choice has completely dissipated.
