had!
My cat is my child as I do not have children because of a genetic disease.
She is a strictly indoor cat who has never gone outside or been exposed to other cats. She was once five pounds and had never been sick once, a day in her life. That all changed when she, unfortunately, went to Peninsula Pet Hospital.
Dr. Cohen took her into the back to draw urine for a sample.
Four days later, she developed all the symptoms of cat herpes: running nose with styes in watering eyes and wheezing. When I confronted Dr. Cohen about his actions he said, "Well, we won't do that again". He then charged me full price for the visit and medication to help the life-long problem she now has that HE CAUSED!
She went on to develop bleeding diarrhea from her anus which destroyed a pair of suede shoes and went all over the carpet.
She was dying because of his actions and went down to an emaciated three pounds. Luckily, I had moved out of state and the vet I chose is all five stars (100%) with a Ph.D. in virology. He clawed her back from death over a dozen visits and 10 shots. Her life is a hell of baths and suffering.
When I twice asked for records to be sent here, they arrived with a scant line about each visit with no test results or imaging.
In the years I saw this vet, he misdiagnosed a dog and another cat. They have never taken ANY responsibility for their reprehensible actions.
I would rather drive my animals for hours to go elsewhere.
