Programs and InstructionalModels Frog Street Press Sing and Read: the Frog Street Press Alphabet, and Number characters make learning letters fun! Reading A-Z-- used in nearly half of the school districts in the U.S. and Canada and 155+ countries worldwide, fill the teaching gaps left by many reading education programs, Books and resources correlated to state and Common Core Standards 10-10-10 Reading Model a reading model that focuses on acquiring new skills but reviewing old skills and includes work building skills Step up to Writing- teaches explicit writing strategies within the writing process (pre-writing, drafting, revising, editing, final copy, proofreading, sharing) to help students organize their thinking and their writing. Six Traits- The 6+1 Trait Writing Model of Instruction & Assessment provides a common language for teachers and students to communicate about the characteristics of writing and establishes a clear vision of what good writing looks like. Handwriting without Tears- The HWT curriculum starts when children enter kindergarten. By playing, singing and building letters, they develop important skills they need to print words, sentences, paragraphs, and eventually transition to cursive.
