Pathways To Success

Pathways to Success (PTS) provides academic coaching to students in elementary school to college. Academic coaching is an interactive process that focuses on the personal relationship created between the student and the coach. The coach, Tia F.,challenges the student to think about his or her personal and/or professional goals in order to relate them to his or her academic/educational goals. Mrs. F. is a certified educator with over 14 years of experience teaching children and adults. She has a B.A. degree in psychology and M.Ed. degree in Community and Occupational Programs in Education from the University of South Carolina (USC). Mrs. F. is currently a doctoral student at USC where she will receive another M.Ed. degree in Educational Administration and a Ph.D. degree in Special Education Administration. Also, she has over 7 years experience as an academic coach with students from elementary school to college.
