I started out competing in AKC obedience, and became known for owning the most titled Mastiff in history for 3 years running. I have won numerous High In Trial awards at all breed shows in obedience, as well as breed champion titles on several of my dogs. In addition to obedience titles, I have put tracking, Rally, and carting titles on several of my own dogs. I have been training for over 27 years, at several facilities, which includes holding a position on the Board at the Little Rock Dog Training Club, before starting my own training business. This diversity has given me the opportunity to work with dogs of almost every conceivable breed and mix. My background is firmly entrenched in science, having started out working with veterinarians, before moving on to a 26 yr career in Biochemistry with the National Center for Toxicological Research. I currently spend about a third of my time visiting residential youth homes and hospitals with my certified Therapy Dog, Reuben, trying to do our part to give back to the community by spreading cheer to those who are most in need. So whether you have just adopted an adult rescue dog, or you have a brand new puppy, I know that I have the capability to help you raise a dog that is both loving and lovable.
