I am currently an elementary education teacher and school psychologist for Miami Dade County public schools. I have worked for the district for approximately six years. I graduated in 2006 from University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Sociology. I moved to Miami to pursue a career as a teacher. In 2008 I started a graduate program in school psychology at Nova Southeastern University. I obtained a M.S. Degree from the department of psychology in 2010. Additionally, I obtained a Psy.S. Degree from the department of psychology in June, 2012. My training as an educator and a school psychologist has given me the opportunity to use and enhance my acquired skills. Moreover, I have developed great communication and interpersonal skills that have allowed me to build professional relationships throughout the year. I am very punctual, professional, trustworthy, responsible. I am a hard worker and always strive to achieve my goals. I have tutored students since I was a college student. Consequently, I have worked with students from all ages, from three years to 18 years of age. I have worked for many tutoring organizations such as Jay's Learning Center, Sylvan Learning Center, Bee Smart Tutoring, and California Student Action.
