Lessons at McIntire Studios are designed for beginning through advanced students of all ages who wish to make music a part of their life. We accept adults, transfer students, and children as young as 4. Programs are individually tailored and paced to the needs of the individual student, and daily practice leads to lasting accomplishment.

Michelle has been teaching voice and piano since 1989. In that time, she has worked with young children and retirees, extremely gifted individuals and special needs students, raw beginners and experienced professionals. Michelle feels that her love of people helps her to connect with her students on a special level, which allows both to grow, no matter what the starting point! For school-aged students, she strongly encourages parental involvement.

Michelle has a strong track record of past student success. Current and former students take I's and II's in district and state music festivals, place in NATS competitions, participate in local musical theatre, and successfully navigate college auditions to go on to major in voice performance, music education, and music therapy majors. Voice students also participate in voice classes and recitals. Voice students must audition for admission to the studio.

Traditional piano lessons are offered to beginners as young as 4 through retirement age, and there are plans to offer Suzuki piano for the youngest students in the near future.

In addition to voice and piano lessons, Michelle is a licensed Kindermusik educator. Contact her for more information about Kindermusik classes, for ages birth through age 7.

David M. is an electro-acoustic composer and a former middle school band director. He provides composition lessons for advanced musicians interested in pursuing composition as a career. In addition, David teaches woodwinds and brass instruments.
