KidzArt Certified Instructors- seeking energetic art instructors for our after school programming in 24 area schools in the Grand Traverse Region. KidzArt spans 7 counties and is growing rapidly. Our classes take place in schools after the dismissal bell for 1 hour, once a week. Opportunities to teach 4 schools per week are available. All materials, curriculum, training, and programming details are run through KidzArt. We are looking to expand school programming and are in a position to work with area schools close to your home that might not currently run KidzArt's classes. Requirements include: reliable transportation to and from area schools, ability to follow precise directions and instructions, open communication between students' families and KidzArt, commitment to students for entire school year, adaptability to classroom or students immediate needs, outgoing and compassionate toward all students regardless of age and abilities, desire to promote and market programming to the community in many creative facets, able to life 35-50 pounds of art materials easily, exceptional organizational skills, ability to check in by e-mail every day of teaching, and most importantly, enjoys being around kids. When taking on the role of KidzArt Certified Instructor, we expect a commitment to our students for the entire school year. Schedule is currently set with opportunities to add in fun weekend and school night events. All applicants are required to pass our public school's background check prior to setting a work schedule.
