Scheduled cleaning for my home via Care.com.....

No one showed.

I called owner asking about the clean team and he said he had lost track of our messages or something and forgot to schedule a cleaning.

Then I scheduled another cleaning for two weeks later.....

No one showed.

I'm not sure why this business is having trouble providing service. Maybe because they are out of state - it's hard to find good cleaners when not being physically located in the area, especially if you are just trying to break in to the new market.

Or maybe they do not have a good system of communication. One good tip is to use email filters to redirect all your lead emails from differing sources into one "LEAD" email inbox - that would of prevented the issue of the owner not keeping track of his lead sources.

Either way, the best advice for a new business is to create systems and procedures and hand off those guidebooks to a virtual staff person to take the calls and schedule the appointments.

Hope that advice helps. Hope you develop a good system to provide cleaning services. Though to provide cleaning services, I'd say showing up would be a start.
