About

Institute for Learning and Development (ILD) provides psychological (neuro-psychological), educational (reading, writing, and math remediation, one-to-one tutoring and executive function coaching), consultation, workshops, speech and language services andmore. We are dedicated to improving the lives of children (K-12yrs), adolescents, and adults with mild to moderate learning differences (i.e. dyslexia ) as well as attention and executive function challenges (i.e. ADHD). Each student's program is custom-tailored and includes strategies that help them to achieve academic success and to build their self-confidence and self-esteem. Our highly experienced, professional staff (Masters and Ph.D. level) translate research findings into evaluation and teaching practices and form partnerships with parents, teachers, and counselors. We assist families in navigating the school landscape to obtain the best possible school program that addresses their child's individual needs. ILD has a sister organization, Researchild, that provides evidence-based executive function strategies through research programs, conferences, books and publications, as well as in-school and online programs for students and teachers. The interrelationship between theory, research, and practice informs all the work that we do. Thus, Institute for Learning and Development (ILD) provides quality services in a caring environment, transforming lives of one student at a time; Researchild transforms the lives of students worldwide.Read more
