About the business
We are a Private Duty Home Health company providing concierge one on one services by CNAs, HHAs and LPNs.
Our owners are local residents and hands-on professionals...Benjamin is a Licensed Therapist and his wife Csilla is an RN. The Private Duty division is headed by Michelle, whose father has advanced Alzheimer's and knows of the challenges faced by the family when making the very personal decision of care. Our highly trained and vetted caregivers all have clean Level 2 background screenings and ongoing training to ensure that our clients get the dignified care they deserve in the home setting they are comfortable and most familiar with. In addition, we are there when a client is hospitalized or undergoing rehab and are in unfamiliar settings which when faced alone can lead to depression and inhibit best possible outcomes for the client and their family.
During hourly visits our team will do whatever YOU and your family desire including but not limited to: Meal preparation and clean up, light housekeeping vacuuming, organizing, laundry, cleaning of bathrooms and living areas, changing of bed linens. Perhaps you want the security of assistance with dressing and showers. Our aides can assist with your medication set up and reminders. We can also drive you to your various appointments with your doctor, dentist, place of worship, hair salon, social engagements or shopping. Aides will also play games, do crafts and puzzles and even assist with event planning to enable you to host a party or family gathering in your home.
Our team is highly vetted and every member has a clean Level 2 Background check. In addition, each team member has compassion and a burning desire to ensure that you are able to enjoy your life in your home on your terms with Dignity and Respect.
We have 24 hour Nurses On Call and as your Client Services Manager, I am always a phone call away.

I am compelled by my great appreciation, to recommend Michelle Lowack and the Private Duty Staff of Hygeia for their incredible care.
My experience as an only daughter/Power of Attorney living 1,000 miles away, is that I can call or text at any time of day and know that all stops will be pulled out to secure for my mother the care that she needs, with peace of mind knowing that she is being given top-notch professional service, while being treated with the utmost of tenderness, respect, and dignity. Michelle and her staff do not view their position as a "job", but have a passion to ensure that seniors have access to the best care possible. They are driven by that passion and it shows in their dedication to- and care of- each individual. Each encounter, both on the phone and by care-givers in person, gives me the impression that my mother is Hygeia's only, or at least most important client, but I have assurance that even when they are dealing with other emergencies like our own at the same time, each client and situation are being given the same focused attention we are receiving.
Michelle, the other administrative staff members, Nurses, Therapists and Aides go extra miles, making themselves available and juggling challenging schedules, while exhibiting more concern for their clients' care than their own personal time and comfort.
Some of the Aides have become well-loved by my 93-year-old mother who can be very difficult and unappreciative most of the time.
I am forever thankful to the Hygeia 'angels' who have been caring so professionally and lovingly for my mother as her needs have increased, on both the Private Duty and Medicare sides, on a regular basis and in emergencies. Thank You!
