Home Care Assistance has very professional people. Whenever we need anything, we can speak directly to the owner or office manager. There is never a problem and they are very responsive. They have reliable and warm people. The caregivers are very helpful, and we could not manage without them. They help my Mom around the house and helping her with personal care---they do everything and support her daily living.

I've had experience with several in home health care agencies but was not happy, then I found Home Care Assistance of Fort Lauderdale. They are the only homecare assistance you'll ever need! They have a full staff of excellent and qualified healthcare givers and are very quick to respond in handling any need you may have. They had a perfect 'fit' for even my very demanding Mother!

Home Care Assistance is responsive, and they follow up after new people are introduced into the situation and ask questions about if we like them and if we can use them again. They're very involved in the process and they're constantly reaching out to make sure that everything is still okay. My Mom has improved in terms of interactions since Darlene has started working with her. Darlene does pretty much everything well. Her compassion and her interaction with my mom on a daily basis are great. She's absolutely a caring person. The care is very much welcome, especially considering that my mom has Alzheimer's. She can't necessarily communicate with me, but I've seen an improvement in her day to day since Darlene has been working with her.

Home Care Assistances looks for a good fit for everyone, not just the client. They make sure their aides are feeling that they fit well at the same time. They're very communicative and keep communication lines open. The care they provide is invaluable. They help me because I've been caring for my mom around the clock for a long time and have had a hard time finding someone to care for her...but now they sent someone who I feel confident could care for her while I work.

I like that the owner of the agency is hands-on and I can reach him at any time. They help me with my situation no matter where I am at. I know that I can count on them to provide the care that I need. I had an issue that needed to be dealt with and I was able to get a hold of the owner on a holiday and he was able to help me out. They help the most because they are knowledgeable about the care, they are at the home, and they are able to take care of business properly without me having to worry about it. The people that come to provide the care are dependable, and they simply do a good job.

I think the folks they send have a genuine interest in caring for clients. They are not just there to babysit, and they show a genuine concern-they pay attention to my Mom, they understand, and anticipate her needs. They will take Mom on walks, take her for a drive, help her watch TV, play cards, and be a companion for her. They also show compassion in the way they interact with her. The office is very responsive. I can send an email and get a response immediately-they are very service oriented.

I would tell someone that Home Care Assistance is very good, very accessible, easy to talk to, and very helpful. The owner and manager of Home Care Assistance is always available when I call, and they are very proactive in sending me messages to keep me informed. The caregiver is very approachable, sends me texts if there is something that I need to know, is always in touch with me, seems very honest, and is willing to go the extra mile. Shes does a really good job talking to my wife, being with her, and helping her around the house. My wife speaks very highly about the caregiver and calls her every day to make sure that she is coming...so I can see that there is a connection between them.

I chose Home Care Assistance because my sister has Alzheimer's. They are very thorough, and they are always there when I call. I have never had Home Care Assistance's office staff not answer, and they always call me right back. They are excellent, and they will call to see how the services are going and see if we need anything else. They are on top of everything. The services from Home Care Assistance have made a big difference. The caregiver gives my sister the care that she needs, and it takes a lot off of me. The caregiver is a 10+. She goes above and beyond and spends a lot of time with my sister. The caregiver will tell me things that I might not know, like things that I could do to help my sister. She is on top of her job. She sings with my sister, does puzzles with her, and does a lot of activities with her. She doesn't just help with the physical needs. She will send me pictures, and she cares for my sister on a personal level. I am totally satisfied with Home Care Assistance. We feel very lucky to have them.

Home Care Assistance is reliable, has good workers, the service was excellent, and the caregivers were timely. I didn't give a lot of notice sometimes, and they were very responsive. The office would talk with both me and my parents, and they were very flexible. The owner from Home Care Assistance came out to meet with us in the beginning, and was very compassionate. They did very well in finding caregivers who matched well. The caregivers were perfect and did everything that was needed to be done. We had other people coming, but the Home Care Assistance caregivers did anything and everything that was needed. The caregivers did better home service than the care my mother got in the rehab center. They even helped my mother when she got home because she couldn't drive and wasn't very mobile.

Home Care Assistance has a great owner. He called out of concern for my mother and came out personally and was very patient with us. The caregiver helped my mom get familiar with the surroundings of the neighborhood and made it more comfortable for her.

I would tell someone that the caregivers Home Care Assistance sends are very nice. I'm feeling more positive because of their services. I have a tendency to fall and my caregivers stay close to me and they catch me before I fall. My caregivers show me that they care by anticipating my needs.

I selected Home Care Assistance because it was hard to take care of my mother ourselves. They are personable and fact orientated. You will feel comfortable to have them in your home. The caregiver is on time, dependable, helps my mom shower, and my mom loves her. She is a great companion for my mom because my mother doesn't like to be alone. She does an excellent job--is on time, persistent, and does what you ask.

The owner of this company was wonderful. He was concerned and helpful at all times. The care taker he sent did everything that was asked of her and more. She was well liked by my mother. When I suddenly needed help at night that was quickly taken care of with a second person that was well liked also.

I appreciate that the office staff at Home Care Assistance is easy to work with whenever something comes up. They communicate with me quite often to ensure that our services are going well. The services that are being provided by Home Care Assistance are great, and the capability of the caregiver is what made the difference. My Dad was so impressed with Manpreet's demeanor and everyone he sent was attentive and helpful. I was at my wit's end and I am glad Home Care Assistance was able to step in and help until my brother could understand the seriousness of the situation. I wish we had found and retained them sooner. My parents had been living independently their whole lives, most recently in Ft Lauderdale, FL, and retained all their mental faculties. My mom at age 92 was diagnosed with cancer and entered hospice care at home. Hospice provided only an hour a day of health aide assistance, for bathing. In February 2017, I visited from NYC and was upset by how haggard my 89 year old dad looked, exhausted by taking care of my mother full-time. A friend who handles elder care in NJ suggested I call Manpreet Dhalla, owner of Home Care Assistance of Ft. Lauderdale. He was wonderful, warm and responsive. He personally met with us in my parents' home, to assess our needs. The very next day he selected appropriate aides and he accompanied them to our home to help them get oriented to my parents, their home and their needs. Every aide was kind, well-trained and eager to work. They were extraordinarily patient, and carefully helped my mother dress and move around, from bed to wheelchair to bathroom. Mr. Dhalla called me every few days to make sure things were going well. (My parents, who were both alert, would have informed me of anything that displeased them; they were very satisfied.) After several weeks, my mother suffered a severe health crisis while I was present. I called Mr. Dhalla immediately to request 24 hour care (in addition to whatever care Hospice would provide) and within two hours, he had arranged round-the-clock care for my mother. She died the next day, and I observed that the aides provided by Home Care Assistance ably assisted the Hospice RN during my mother's last hours. Truly, I would not have been able to return to NYC without the outstanding help provided by Mr. Dhalla and his staff. I would recommend his services to anyone looking to help elderly or disabled friends or relatives. I would unhesitatingly do so again, should the need arise.

Home Care Assistance is very conscientious and they do a good job. My husband needed home care as I've been taking care of him myself. He was left at home while I went to work. Recently he got sick with an infection, so he had to go to a hospital and nursing home. The caregiver tries to make his life easier. One of the big things is that she focuses on him, she interacts with him during the day so that when he's alone he doesn't have a darkness around him. He responds well to the caregiver and has been happier. I know that the caregiver gives him a bath every day, and I know that we are trying to get him out in the sunshine. The caregiver thinks the world of my husband, and it seems to be obvious that she cares. The office staff has been right there if I needed anything.

The professional demeanor of Manpreet made me want to go with Home Care Assistance's services. I am very impressed with him as he selected a very good caregiver for us, the billing system was very professional, and the follow up that he had with us was very professional. My Ward's caregiver is very proactive in engaging her. The caregiver helps her with her ADL's and keeps her busy and tries to build a relationship with her.

We were impressed with the owner and his degree of knowledge in this field. His business model seems to come from his in-depth knowledgeable of home care field of work. I like the system that Home Care Assistance has put in place to maintain quality of services given to its clients. They have great background checks on their employees to ensure that I am well-taken care of. By having a sense of confidence and security, Home Care Assistance really gives me hope and trust in the company. The caregivers have a great attention to detail when working with the individual. Seriously consider HCA/Ft Lauderdale if assistance is needed for your loved one.
We needed transitional care as we were awaiting transfer to memory care unit for my step dad. (Alzheimers)
My mom and I met with Manpreet (My brother had researched this company).He was not only attentive but was dedicated to making sure what could be done was being done,doing all he could to provide correct match with helping my stepdad. My brother and I live a distance ,thus when not there needed to enlist Manpreet to help with assisting us with paper work, changes in need for step dad etc. Very reachable and returned calls ,email.
We could not be more thankful to Manpreet for helping us all through a challenging time. He is the best partner to have.

We moved mom to a memory care ALF in Florida and called HCA to provide a private aide that would help mon acclimate to the new facility. Manpreet did a great job of matching the right person for mom and took great personal care to ensure her comfort and satisfaction. I highly recommend HCA of Ft Lauderdale.

I have known the owner of Home Care Assistance of Fort Lauderdale, for quite some time in a professional capacity.
