Mary and her team are the best!! When I moved to Boston with my spirited and very stubborn Chihuahua, I struggled for years to find a reliable and trustworthy dog-walker. And then I met Mary and it was like all my doggie prayers had been answered. It was clear from our first meeting that Mary sincerely cares about the well-being of the animals under her care and as a neurotic owner, knowing that my dog's safety and happiness are a priority gives me peace of mind. Mary and her team are always professional, prompt, friendly and flexible. I can't stress enough just how flexible and responsive Mary is (two rare qualities,in my experience)--both in terms of scheduling and care. This summer, my dog had surgery and was on bed rest for months. Once he was able to take quick trips outside, Mary ensured that my pup was carried down the stairs and then as his mobility improved, Liz (his awesome walker) took him on longer walks. She's always attentive to his moods and I feel comfortable leaving him alone during the week, knowing that my little guy is receiving the best care.

Where do I even begin with the praise and thanks that I have for Mary and her wonderful team?! I have been using Happy Pet Care for the past 5 years. In that time I have gone from having 1 rescue cat to 3 very needy, demanding indoor cats that all have health problems. I fly backwards and forwards to London as I am from England and my Mum needs help as she is getting older. Mary and all the team were the shining light that I was looking for to allow me this freedom. From the moment I met Mary (all-be-it over a Skype call from London!) I knew she would be the person that I would be able to trust with my beloved animals. Professional, caring, honest, and trustworthy doesn't even begin to describe the level of care that she and her team offer. I have had Jo, Andrea and Kathleen look after my girls and they have cared for them above and beyond what is expected from a Cat Sitter. My standards are very high and find it hard to let go of control but I can safely say that Happy Pet Care give me that peace-of-mind that no matter what, they will make sure everything is kept to my standard and put the needs of my animals first! Mary and her team are extremely flexible, accommodating and easy to get hold of should you need to check anything or rearrange a booking. I will continue to use Happy Pet Care for as long as they will have me and my girls; safe in the knowledge that they know my animals,house and the way things run - such a rare find and Im forever grateful!

I have 2 old cats; one of them is diabetic and needs medication twice a day. Both cats have thyroid issue and need medication for that as well. The amount of medicine was different depending on their health conditions. Happy Pet Care people had to put up with instruction that changed constantly, but they always followed through it. Not only that, they were very flexible to accommodate my absence. Occasionally, I made last minute requests, but somehow they figured out the way to accommodate. Most importantly, they gave so much love to my cats. I lived in Brighton and Andrea visited my apartment frequently. She was such a lovely person, and even my shy cat showed affection to Andrea.
Those are just a few example of things Happy Pet Care provided to me. I had so many great experience with them and I highly recommend their service to anyone who are in the Brighton area and needs pet nanny.

Happy Pet Care oversaw countless walks, daycare sessions, and boards of the 2 dogs I've had over the past 7 years or so. Mary and her crew were always very responsive and flexible to my ever changing needs--more so than any service provider of any type I've used. In fact, they anticipate needs before I know I have them--for example, by sending out reminders of upcoming holidays along with an inquiry of whether reguarly-scheduled service is still needed.

During my first dog's last days, when she was too weak to go up or down the stairs or go for a real walk, Mary made sure she was gently carried up and down them for much-needed bathroom breaks (perhaps that wouldn't be a big deal with a small dog, but mine was nearly 50 lbs). With caring service like that it's clear to me that Happy Pet Care treats the animals in their care just as well as they treat their own.

One of my only two regrets in moving away was leaving their service area. While I appreciated Happy Pet Care during my time in their service area, trying (so far in vain) to locate something comparable where I live now has underscored just how uniquely wonderful Happy Pet Care is. I'm sure my dog misses them just as much as I do.

Happy Pet Care the best service provider (yes, that includes plumbers, cleaners, painters etc.) I have found since moving to Brookline about two years ago. Jo is by far the very best dog walker we've ever had and a truly lovely person. I have complete trust in her and in the way she handles our Athena. Jo is careful to help Athena avoid issues with other dogs, and really appreciates her very enthusiastic personality. Mary (the owner) is extremely prompt in returning calls and emails, and has always managed to accommodate our requests, even at the last minute. The combination is terrific, we feel very fortunate to have found such quality care for the favorite member of the family!

I couldn't be more enthusiastic in my recommendation of Happy Pet Care. I am comfortable knowing my dog is in excellent hands with their walker, Jo, and I am confident there will never be scheduling or operational issues - they are extremely efficient. Jo is wonderful with my dog, he loves her! She truly cares about him and his well-being and understands a dog that needs an exercise walk versus just a potty walk! Her notes are comprehensive and sweet and make me smile every day (it amazes me how other walking services don't take the time to tell you when- or if - your dog went out). Mary is super responsive, even for last minute requests. Just last night she was able to mobilize an evening walk and feeding for my pup when I had to work late - Chris was great! Invoicing is detailed and simple.

Here is a quick story that illustrates why I love them so much: A few weeks ago I came home from work and there were fire trucks in front of my building and my stomach dropped. My pup was inside the building. As I was trying to get up to the building I called the concierge, fortunately he picked up.
Breathlessly I announced who I was and without skipping a beat he said, "Jo has Jazz". There turned out not to be a fire, but Jo had still stayed up in my apartment with my dog and calmed him through the alarms. And, unbeknownst to her, probably stopped an anxiety attack for me on the street just by hearing the words... "Jo has Jazz".

For a very engaged (I wouldn't say neurotic...) dog owner, Happy Pet Care is THE BEST service out there. My pup gets exercise, attention, safety and love. I get comfort, ease, security and peace of mind.

Mary and her team are so fabulous. I love my little pup and was so nervous about my work and vacation travel this summer, but Mary and her team make me feel at ease and I know my little pup is in great hands! I have had Happy Paws walk my dog 2x/ day for multiple weeks while I travel (my roommates are home during that time so I don't leave him completely alone!) and they are so wonderful. I come home to detailed notes of the walks (they always note how kissy and wiggly my pup has been!) and feel so confident that Jack gets the love, attention, and EXERCISE that he deserves!

Mary knows that I get nervous about leaving my pup and does everything possible to put me at ease. I have made requests for specific walkers and times and Mary has done everything possible to accommodate and answer even the silliest of my requests and questions.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Happy Pet Care! Mary, the owner, has always been easy to reach and quick to respond to my emails, and she handles our frequently-changing schedule with aplomb. We adore our regular dog walker, Chris, and feel comfortable leaving our dog in his care for a day or a weekend or longer. If we leave the dog with him for the weekend, we'll usually get some sweet messages and photos about how our dog is doing, which definitely puts us at ease. Mary and her colleagues always do such a fantastic job of watching my cat, Millie. They are always extremely attentive to my wishes regarding Millie's care. Millie is an older cat, so I am usually nervous with who I trust to care for her, but I never worry when she is getting visits from Happy Pet Care. Sometimes I will even email Mary just to make sure Millie is doing fine and Mary is always quick to reply. Also, the sitters always leave a little note summarizing what task was done and how Millie was that day, which I love reading when I get back. I have used Happy Pet Care for almost 4 years and I doubt there is a better pet sitter in the city!

Happy Pet Care is awesome. We switched services after our last company became too difficult to deal with and it was the best decision. Mary and her team are responsive and flexible and clearly make the animals their priority. Mary (owner) and Andrea (our lovely walker) have been taking care of my dog Scooby over the last few years. It's been such a pleasure working with Marry and the Happy Pet Care team. Mary is EXTREMELY responsive and Andrea has been so wonderful to Scooby. I love coming home and reading the cute notes she leaves where she details Scooby's new friends and other walk details. Happy Pet Care has been a total lifesaver for us. Mary (the owner) and her team are wonderful with our dog, Abby, and Abby loves spending time with them, whether it's on a midday walk or if they are boarding her (I strongly suspect Abby thinks of their boarding services as a sort of canine spa getaway). It is clear that Abby's walker really cares about her, leaving detailed notes for us after every walk.
